Cameo Machine Settings

Setting your machine properly to cut your chosen media is critical to project success with the Silhouette Cameo.

This can be a daunting task when trying out a new media.

There three setting to be mindful of when adjusting your machine.

Blade depth, pressure, and speed.

Blade depth is physically set on the Cameo machine itself. Think of this like the rough adjustment. This is the setting that is going to quickly get you close to where you want to be.

Pressure and speed are both set in the Silhouette Studio software.

Pressure is the fine tuning of your cut depth. This is the setting that gets it just right.

And finally speed just depends on the intricacy of what you are cutting. very basic shapes can go faster than highly detailed cuttings.
