Description

Oraguard 210 Economy Vinyl Laminate

Vinyl laminate is a clear material that is designed to protect whatever it is layered over. Laminates act as a shield against scratching and fading and add an extra layer of protection to any vinyl project. The laminates are primarily used with printed media such as the patterned vinyl and Inkjet Printable vinyl but are compatible with all vinyl. Simply layer the laminate onto the vinyl and smooth out. Then make your cut. Laminates are compatible with all personal hobby and craft cutters but you will need to account for a thicker media when cutting (a test cut is always recommended). The Economy Laminate comes with a matte finish and the Premium Laminate comes with a Gloss finish. Either can be used indoors or outdoors to offer extra protection to your vinyl project.

    Good but...

I love expressions vinyl laminate, i originally want the premium (glossy) but unfortunately it was sold out at the time so i got the economy (matte) to try. My goal was to use a glossy sticker paper to achieve the vibrant colors but then use a matte laminate to minimize the glossy sheen. HOWEVER, when i squeegee’d this matte laminate over my paper and cut the stickers out, the laminate had little bubble marks all over it sort of looked like when you spill pop on something and it leaves a sticky bubbly mess except in this case I’m not able to clean it off....I’m a little bummed because i bought the 5ft roll and may not get much use out of it. I’m hoping the glossy laminate comes back in stock soon so i can try and see if that works better.
