Coffee Table Redo
I got this coffee table to redo awhile back...
I wanted it in my living room, but my living room is super small and I totally didn't want to hit my shins on it daily.
So instead I decided to keep it in my son's room until we moved.
I knew that he didn't want a plain black table and I knew i didn't want to paint it some color that wouldn't go in any other room in my house.
so I turned my attention over to vinyl....
First the front...I wanted a splash of color without being overwhelming, so I just cut strips of red and framed it out.
and i wanted an interaction top....so when you take off the cushion you get:
I pulled out the scraps and used the most that i could...
I own almost every color of vinyl Expressions Vinyl makes, because i'm a little OCD about their vinyl.
and I keep an ongoing list of vinyl I need to reorder as I run out...I noticed that there were a few colors that I always seemed to run out--obvs I use it the mostest...
so i love they sell these big fat mama rolls of vinyl.
it's totally worth it in the long run if you are using vinyl as much as I am!!!!!!
anyways...back to the project at hand..... I break it down piece by piece and just peel and stick.
these little yellow tabs are the lines on my road..
you get it all done and then it's time to play!!!!!
fun easy project that requires some scissors and vinyl!!!!!
summer also did a real fun table top redo HERE on the expressions vinyl blog!
