Plywood Signs
Hi again, it's Kaysi from Keeping it Simple. In my kitchen I have a bright yellow accent wall. I need something big and bright to go onto it. When I saw this idea, I knew that I wanted to do something like that in there. It was so easy to do and it really makes a statement in my kitchen. My motto for this house has been: Go bold or go home!
This is how I made them:
I took some scrap plywood. I actually got mine in the clearance section, they were $.51 each and I had to buy 2. I cut the pieces into squares, so 21”x21”.
Then I painted the wood green and turquoise.
I cut out the design out of white vinyl. I used 12x24 sheets of white vinyl and cut it on my 12x24 mat.
I put the vinyl onto the plywood.
To put the wood onto the wall, we actually just drilled a hole into the wood and then screwed it directly into the wall (instead of having to use wall mounts). I used some wood filler and then painted over it.
And now I have some bold, bright and big signs for my kitchen!
Thanks for having me here today!I would love it if you followed along.
