Product Application Process
This school vinyl will cut and be applied very similarly to the other heat-transfer vinyl available at Expressions Vinyl. This vinyl can be applied to any 100% cotton, 100% polyester, or cotton/polyester blend material.

Pre-Application Directions
Before applying your vinyl design:

Cut out your design - be sure to mirror it
Weed out excess vinyl to reveal your cut design
Situate your material
Application Directions
After your design is cut and the material is situated:

Set your heat temperature to 305 degrees Fahrenheit
Preheat your garment for 2-3 seconds
Press heat for 10-15 seconds
Apply medium pressure
Peel hot or cold, we recommend waiting 5 seconds before peeling

Washing Directions
It is always recommended after a vinyl project that you wait at least 24 hours before washing your item. After the recommended 24 hours, your product can be machine washed inside out and in cold water to preserve the integrity of the vinyl. Do not use bleach products or fabric softener when washing your vinyl items and do not dry clean. Dry your products on a normal setting in your dryer or hang dry.

Importance of Proper Application
Applying your patterned heat-transfer vinyl is very important because it helps to ensure the longevity of the vinyl on your material. If you do not press the heat on the vinyl properly, or wash it properly, then it could start to peel off or begin to crack. Be sure to follow all the instructions in order to avoid this happening to your products so that they have the chance to last longer. By using Expressions Vinyl quality vinyl, properly applying the vinyl, and caring for your material correctly, then your custom vinyl garment should last for a long time.
