Applying the Sports Vinyl
This specific patterned vinyl can be applied the same way that heat-transfer vinyl can be. While you will want to be conscious of layering this vinyl, so as to not lose the integrity of the sports design, you can apply this vinyl to any 100% cotton, 100% polyester, or a cotton/polyester blend of material. This could come in the form of clothing, banners, bags, hats, or shoes, etc. These sporty designs on the vinyl will allow you to support your favorite on the products you choose to add your own personal sport touch. 

Application Recommendations
After heating your heat press to 305 degrees Fahrenheit and cutting your design into your patterned sports vinyl, you are ready to apply your vinyl to your product. It is recommended that you use medium pressure and hold the heat onto the design with the clear carrier sheet for approximately 10-15 seconds. Then release the heat and allow the vinyl to cool down a bit before peeling off the carrier sheet. You can peel sport HTV as a hot or cool peel. A cool peel is where you allow the vinyl to completely cool down before you begin to peel away the carrier. Using the right heat settings allows the vinyl  to adhere to your product and protect its longevity.

We recommend going with bigger designs when designing with pattern vinyl to really show off the bold pattern and have it show up nicely on your products. You will see your pattern better the bigger you are able to make your design.
