4th of July Sign
Hi! This is Candace from Clearfield Designs. I'm here today to share a project I made to hang in my entry way. The 4th of July is coming up fast. I always like to have something festive hanging in my entry way. I had an extra 10x20 frame laying in my craft room. I decided this would be be perfect for my decoration!
Then I found this image by doing a search in the Cricut Craft Room for July. This image is from Word Collage Cricut Cartridge. I sized this on my computer screen at about 9x18 inches. I needed to save a little room around the edge for the frame. I then cut my image using red vinyl and my Cricut Expression. I used indoor vinyl since I would be hanging this inside. My blade setting was at a 1 with medium speed and medium pressure. After the image was cut, I then weeded the area around the image to get rid of excess vinyl. After I finished with that, I applied my transfer tape. Before applying my vinyl onto the glass, I cleaned and dried my glass. I then very carefully applied the vinyl. I applied it directly onto the front of the frame. I smooth out all air bubbles before peeling off the transfer tape. After I remove the transfer tape, I hang it in my entry way. This is a very simple project that looks great!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
Candace
