Glow In The Dark Boo Blocks
Hi everyone! It's Kaysi again from Keeping it Simple.
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays to decorate for. My house is already all decked out in orange and black. And because of that, my 4 year old thinks that Halloween is tomorrow :).
I love to transform 2x4s with vinyl and make easy and expensive decorations. Here is one a I did with the decorative vinyl and glow in the dark vinyl (yes it actually glows!).
This is how I made it:
I took a 2x4 and cut into two pieces, 5" and 4".
I painted it black and while the paint was wet, I blew some glitter onto it.
Using my Cricut, I cut out the vinyl. The glow in the dark vinyl is a little thicker, so I did a double cut on it.
Next I cut the polka dot vinyl into strips that were 1 3/8" wide and put it onto the sides of the wood.
It just gives it a nice finished touch.
I added some bakers twine. And that's it!! Super easy.
And here it is in the dark, the eyes glowing.
Here are a couple of my favorite Halloween decorations I have done with vinyl:
I would love it if you followed along.
