Glow In The Dark Vinyl Sign For Halloween

Glow In The Dark Vinyl Sign For Halloween

Hey there Expressions readers! Summer of Made By Munchie's Mama here again feeding into the Halloween frenzy here on the blog.

Can you believe it's already time to decorate for Fall? I don't know about you all, but some crisp Autumn weather will be a welcome change around these parts. I am counting down the degrees till I can break out my boots and sweaters. To help pass the time I created this SIM-PLE Halloween sign using Expressions Glow in the Dark vinyl.

Here is how it all went down.

Run toHome Depot and grab a scrap piece of wood or use what you have lying around like I did and paint it black. Mine is 8x11.

While that is drying, draw up your design for your cutting machine. The great thing about this project is that you can totally do it using a good ole' fashion pair of scissors. When cutting on your machine make sure to check the Expressions Vinyl cut setting to make sure it gets cut all the way through. This stuff is pretty thick.

Peel away the extra vinyl so you are left with just the part you want to use. Now you can use transfer tape, but I just peeled each item off individually and placed them on the sign. Like I said, this stuff is thick and so it was very easy to handle and apply without getting air bubbles.

That's all folks. So simple and so fun. Check out what it looks like when the lights go out!!

Hope you enjoy crafting with your Glow in the Dark vinyl.

Happy Halloween!!!
