St. Patrick'S Day Tshirts
I am always the one who forgets to wear green on St. Patrick's Day! Always. And someone always notices and pinches me. :( And now that I have two little ones, I want to be sure that they don't have to experience St. Patrick's day without wearing green!
So I took this opportunity to whip up a couple of cute St. Patrick's Day tshirts for my kiddos.
We used stripflocked heat transfer vinyl in green for my son, and glitter heat transfer vinyl in light green for my daughter.
And I let my children help me pick out what they wanted on their shirts! They thought this was so much fun! And I love how the shirts turned out!
Remember to mirror your image or text prior to cutting it.
When using heat transfer vinyl, the shiny side always goes down. The shiny side acts as your backing paper and your transfer tape.
After you have cut your vinyl, carefully weed it. Heat transfer vinyl is a bit harder to weed then traditional vinyl, so take your time with this.
Then you will iron your vinyl onto your tshirt and let it cool completely for the Stripflock, Glitter HTV can be peeled HOT! take the transfer tape off of the top of the vinyl and enjoy your shirt!
I love how these both turned out. My daughter picked this cute Lucky design!
And this cute shirt I made for my son is so soft and fuzzy! He loves the stripflocked heat transfer vinyl!
Designing and creating t-shirts is so fun and simple with your Silhouette Cameo(or Silhouette Portrait or Cricut)! So grab some heat transfer vinyland start trying it out!
To create these projects you will need:
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
