Tracking The Leprechaun

Tracking The Leprechaun

Last year my daughter made a Leprechaun trap at school. We set it out but we didn't catch the little guy. He is super sneaky. We will set out the trap again this year along with Drake's trap, double whammy! We, (the adults) thought it would be fun to use some Oracal Removable Indoor Vinyl to play along with the sneaky Leprechaun. So we are printing little foot prints and initials for the kids "pot of gold".

I went to the dollar store and bought a green mug along with some candy. I had some ribbon at the house already, and I used some Gold and Green vinyl.

I have cut all the footprints, initials, and little four leaf clover to lay them out the night of St. Patrick's Day. The footprints and little kids gifts will be set up next to the Leprechaun trap box. I have taken a few photos just to give an idea as to what it will look like.

We cut out the footprints to indicate where the little leprechaun may have tromped through out house. We made the footprints large enough to work with so I wasn't working with a lot of little toe prints.

Now that we have the feet cut out, we will place these through the house the night when the little Leprechaun comes to visit us.

Then just for fun we cut out the kids first initial to place on their little mug. This will help reduce the fighting over who's is who's come time to pick a "cup of gold".

Here is the rough idea as to what the kids will see come St. Patrick's Day. There will also be the Leprechaun trap and possibly a rainbow in the equation ;-)
