USA Burlap Banner
Who is ready for the 4th of July? I know I have lots to do still with decoring my home, but I did want to share with you a simple patriotic banner for you to create and display on your mandle, railing, your 4th of July Parade float or even just for a fun bbq seving table banner.
First here is what you will need:
- Siser Glitter Red HTV
- Siser Glitter Sapphire HTV
- Siser Glitter White HTV
- EasyReflective Silver HTV
- Burlap Banner (Amazon) or just cut out the pattern in paper
- USA Banner Cut File
Your cut file link should open up as an SVG. If you have Silhouette Basic you will have to trace, if you have DE or higher just turn on your cut lines in the SEND portion. This is what you should see...
If you dont like the banner look, just cut out the banner out of whatever you like, paper... wood..whatever you want.
Its already been mirrored so just seperate (ungroup) and get ta cuttin'.
This will end up giving you 7 banners and after all is cut out, you shoud have a sent up like this...
You will first want to start with your Sapphire Glitter Star Strip, just line it up at the top of the banner and press for 15-20 seconds 320 degrees.
Press Chart Time and Temp are on the site HERE!
Repeat this on all 7 banners.
Then attatch your Red Glitter HTV stripes on the 1,3,5 and 7th banner...every other banner since your USA goes on 2,4,6.
So I pressed 2 at a time and went from right to left starting with the EasyReflective 'A' and the following Glitter Red Stripes.
I pressed the White Glitter HTV star the same time as my Red by just sticking it in the middle star spot.
Remember the Reflective is a warm peel so just wait to peel that carrier sheet off as you go along.
Once that is all cooled and all carrier sheets removed, follow suit with adding your White Glitter HTV ontop of the EasyReflective Silver and add in your smaller stars with the reflective as well. With the Reflective you will have to keep the carrier sheet on since its flimsy, the glitter is stiff so its easy to add to your knocked out Star.
Since you will have some HTV exposed you MUST cover it with either Multi Use Paper or a longer lasting material like a Heat Cover Sheet.
You can remove the Glitter HTV carrier sheet while still hot, but the Reflective is a warm peel.
And there you have it a fun USA banner ready to be hung. and hey you can flip it over for the next Holiday....fallish?
BUT WAIT! Theres more!!!! The COOLEST PART!!! Check out what happens with a camera flash on!!!!
Even just a hit of the right angle of light, your banner will definatly be proof through the night that our flag is still there.
Thanks for stopping by and keep checking out our blog for more fun stuff! Happy 4th of July!
