Metal Heat Transfer Vinyl by Siser

Heat transfer vinyl (i.e. T-shirt vinyl, Iron-on vinyl) comes with a heat activated adhesive on one side. The other side (which will be the exposed side upon application has a clear carrier sheet that provides a way to keep everything intact until application. All cuts will need to be mirrored (flipped) as you are cutting it from the reverse side. Easyweed heat transfer vinyl is compatible with all personal hobby and craft cutters and can be used in many applications including shirts, hats, shoes, bags or most anything that can withstand the application temperature.

Metal is Siser®’s latest addition to the HTV family. This new product is somewhat of a hybrid between Metallic and the former EasyWeed® Foil lines, offering a brushed metal look in both Silver and Gold. Metal boasts drastically improved performance!

This is great stuff. It looks so awesome and isn't thick like some other shinny htv I have used.

    Metal HTV

The project I used this HTV for was for an intricate cut to make wedding face masks. You have to be careful with this HTV because if it gets heated too many times, it becomes wrinkly. I'd imagine layering projects would be difficult with this stuff, unless your metal piece was the top piece. I'm looking forward to trying this out on a bigger project - but so far, not impressed.

    Silver Metal

This vinyl has an awesome metal/chrome like look. I did find I had to press it a little longer than instructions by maybe 5 secs more, but other than that, the weeding and look of it overall I was very happy with.
