Metallic Gold Vinyl Fall Glass Candles

Metallic Gold Vinyl Fall Glass Candles

Hi everyone, Carol here again from The Answer Is Chocolate. Where does the time go? I feel like it was just yesterday I was here sharing a Halloween project and now we’re less than a week away from Trick or Treat day.

I’m having a long overdue lunch with some girlfriends and I always like to take them a little gift. This time of year, who can’t use a candle whether for practical purposes like power outages, or as a seasonal accent.

I downloaded this great image from the Silhouette online store: 2 Leaf Borders #32252

It’s actually part of a pair but I ungrouped the pair deleted the other border and then duplicated the one I wanted to use.

I chose metallic gold vinyl for this project because it just reminds me of the leaves changing colors.

Here are my images after peeling away the extra vinyl. For images with lots of detail, like these swirls, I like to use transfer paper to get my images cleanly off the backing and onto my project.

This made it easy to center the image and place it on the candle. The candles I used can be found many places. Mine came from the grocery store. I covered them with some scrapbook paper using Mod Podge.

Then I just poked around in my stash and embellished with some complementary rhinestones, plain old twine, beads, and paper flowers.

Super easy to whip up a batch of these as gifts!
