Personalized Sand Buckets

Hi, I'm Chasity from Making Memories Forever and today I am going to share how I made these adorable personalized sand buckets.

Summer is my favorite time of the year. A time my family and I travel to Florida beaches. These sand buckets were just what we needed to build sand castles while on vacation. I had a fun idea to decorate them this year for all the children.

For this project you will need: a sand bucket which can be purchased for only a dollar at your local Dollar Tree or Dollar General Stores. You will also need multiple colors of outdoor vinyl to stand up in the sun, sand and water. Last you will need transfer tape to help get the vinyl onto the buckets.

Some cool images to use would include a seahorse, castle or palm tree. For this project I choose to go with the ice cream cones in colors beige, light pink and ice blue. I used white for the child's name.

After cutting and weeding you can now apply with the transfer tape. If your sand bucket has a lot of ridges, like the one shown, a good tip would be to apply the vinyl only on the smooth areas.

The result would be a cute sand bucket your child could enjoy at the beach or the sandbox at home.

Other great ways to use this personalized sand bucket would be to stuff with sandals for a beach theme party favor. Or even fill with candy and treats for a gift basket.

Enjoy!!!
