April 2022 Mystery Box

The April 2022 Mystery Box is the epitome of spring! So many bright and fun colors (plus two new patterns)! Jessica did an amazing job choosing patterns and colors to curate this box, and we hope you love it as much as we do!

Our cut files for this box were designed by Arilee Creative Co. and there are so many fun designs to choose from! (She designed February 2022's cut files, too!)

Squeeze The Day Frame

The first project we made with this box is this "Squeeze the Day" frame. We thought the new lemon pattern was so cute and the perfect backdrop for this cut file!

This would be a fun sign to display for brunch, as a motivator in a common area like a kitchen or hallway, or a bright pop of color in any room!

Graduation Gifts

Graduation season is coming up, and if you want to give a more personal gift to congratulate the grads, these projects are for you!

We got the wood frame from Hobby Lobby and used the Ombre Sunrise patterned vinyl to make our gift for a grad. It's so simple to make, but it's a great reminder of their achievement. For our gift bag, we wanted to send them well-wishes for wherever they are headed next, so the Bon Voyage cut file from this month's box was perfect! We used the various Oracal 651 sheets to design the flowers, then used the Ombre Sunrise patterned vinyl to make the globe. Plus, it's not a party without something shiny! The bright green Opal vinyl was the perfect addition to this project.

Overall, we think these projects are great for graduates of all education levels.

Our Happy Place Frame

We'll admit, we cheated a little with this project! We used the Alligator Green EasyPSV from the February 2022 Mystery Box for this cute frame. What's the point of having Mystery Boxes if you can't mix and match, right?

This project is so perfect for a mantle decoration for your home. We've styled it on our mantle at home with some fun plants, but you can display it however you'd like! This cut file would also look cute on towels, oven mitts, or even blankets.

Acrylic Cups

Hear us out, how cute would these be for a Mother's Day brunch or breakfast in bed?!

These cups are so easy to make, and the cut files included in this box are great for mixing and matching. We used four different cut files for these cups, and they all look so good together! Plus, add in our exclusive glitter adhesive pattern into the mix and you get glitter gorgeousness!

Cottontail Farms Pillow

This pillow will breathe spring into your space! And who doesn't love the story of Petter Rabbit?

We saw this striped pillow at Hobby Lobby and thought it would be perfect to match this Mystery Box! This project is a cute decoration for a couch, a porch swing, bed, or really anywhere you want a cuddly decoration!

The bright colors of the EV Flex really make this stand out, plus the Rainbow White glitter helps add a touch of sparkle.

Hunny Bunny Onesie and Best Mom Ever Shirt

Mother's Day is coming up, and this would make a great gift for a mom in any stage of motherhood, including the amazing mother figures in our lives!

We love the way EV Flex matches with our new Grassy Daisies pattern, and they complement each other so well! This would make a great Mother's Day gift, or just a fun surprise for Mom.

Best Mom Ever Sweatshirt

Why have one "Mom" shirt, when you can have TWO? We couldn't resist making a second design using our favorite color of Twinkle: rainbow! It matches so well with our EV Flex in pink.

The best part is that Twinkle will match with just about any HTV included in the April Mystery Box. This would be cute with pink, yellow, and even the light green EV Flex! So many different combinations to make, it's hard to pick!

Shirt from Hobby Lobby

Graduation Cap

Want a fun way to personalize your graduation cap? Use vinyl, of course! This is yet another great use of our Ombre Sunrise patterned vinyl, but you can also use your school colors (or your favorite colors, too).

For this project, we simply took the "globe" part of the Bon Voyage cut file and sized it to fit on our mortarboard. Then, we carefully pressed with our iron just long enough for the vinyl to stick without damaging the fabric.

This design is great for saying goodbye to old friends and teachers and wishing them well as you depart in your separate directions.

Home Kitchen Towel

How cute are these kitchen towels?! We think these just shout "SPRING!"

This project was super simple to make. We used the yellow EV Flex to add an offset to this cut file, which we made in Rainbow White glitter HTV. That's it!

A simple project to add some brightness and sunshine into your home!

Cottontail Farms Frame

This frame is a fun decoration to pull out for Easter. This could be a great centerpiece for a table, a decoration for the mantle, or a seasonal piece to hang on the wall!

For this project, we took this frame from Target and the Cottontail Farms cut file from this month's box. Then, we cut our design from the Ombre Sunrise patterned vinyl and made our little bunny stand out with the Opal adhesive in Bright Green.

Oopsy Daisy Watering Can

How could we decorate a watering can without using our new Grassy Daisies pattern?!

For this project, we wanted to capture the essence of spring. We made our petals out of the Ombre Sunrise patterned vinyl, then made the center of our daisy with our exclusive glitter pattern, Grassy Daisies. Then, we picked a fun font and used our white Oracal 651 for a cute phrase.

We think it turned out so cute!

Springtime Vibes Pillow

Another fun fact about Twinkle: it's reflective! Nothing says "springtime vibes" more than sparkly rainbows!

For this project, we simply took the Springtime Vibes cut file from this Mystery Box and cut it from our Twinkle.

The fun thing about this project is that if you flash a light on it, becomes brighter and reflective! Just check out the example picture!

Hunny Bunny Frame

We thought this Hunny Bunny cut file would be so cute on this clear frame from IKEA (and we were right!). The soft pink Oracal 651 and red Etched Glass vinyl go so well together for this project!

This project would make a cute centerpiece for an Easter dinner table or a mantle decoration. How would you use this craft?
