Plant A Flower Day

Have you planted a flower today?

March 12, 2022 is Plant a Flower Day. Whether you have one ready to plant for real or are just working on your favorite version with vinyl, cardstock, fabric or paper we hope it will brighten your day.

There are so many fun things you can do with flowers and our floral vinyl patterns that we thought we'd gather a few together for you. Some are simple and easy for a quick project while others are designed to impress. How will you be planting a flower today?

Colorful Poppies With Vinyl and Crayons

This fun project let's you create real works of art with a little bit of vinyl and crayon shavings.  

We wanted some personalized cards so we found a fun floral design that we cut out of Siser EasyWeed heat transfer vinyl. Adhesive vinyl would work as well. Once we applied the black outline we took crayon shavings of pink red and purple for the flowers and greens for the stems. Protect your heat source with a piece of multi use paper that you plan on getting rid of. Cover the project up and add a little heat to melt the crayons.
