All Boy Shirt

Hi!! It's Kaysi, from Keeping it Simple. I'm super excited to show you how to use the t-shirt vinyl!! It's so awesome and whenever I get done I'm always so impressed by how good and professional it looks on clothes!!

I always hit the end of the seasons clearances at stores and snagged this shirt for $1! I love the solid tee, but thought it needed a little something. I especially love clever word shirts, so I did this one for my 2 year old boy.

This is how I made it:

1) I used my Silhouette program and wrote out the words that I wanted for the shirt.

2) You have to mirror the images horizontally for the t-shirt vinyl. So I did just that, just by right clicked and selecting the "mirror horizontally" button

3) I just used a little bit of the t-shirt vinyl, so I cut it out with my paper cutter.

4) I placed both pieces onto my mat, glossy side down. And then I cut it out with my Silhouette. I used the Expressions Vinyl t-shirt vinyl is colors green and sky blue

5) Once it was cut, I removed the excess vinyl.

6) Using the wool setting, I then ironed the word onto the shirt for 45-60 seconds.

7) Once it cooled for a minute, I removed the plastic. If the letters stick to the plastic, iron it for a few more seconds.

I did that for all of the words and that's it! Super easy! And it washes great! If it even comes up a little, just iron it again and it good to go! My boys LOVE having fun, personalized shirts!

Come stop by my blog and say hi, I always love new friends!!
