Simple To Use

The permanent adhesive vinyl is not finicky to use. It holds up extremely well when being cut to allow for your design to maintain its originally intended shape through the weeding and application process.

Typically this product can last up to 3-5 years when used outdoors and can last permanently when used indoors!

How Do I Use Patterned Adhesive Vinyl? 
After you have found the perfect patterned vinyl for your projects, it is a fairly simple application process to have your designs turn out just right. Follow these few steps to ensure you adhere it correctly to your surfaces or projects.

 

Clean and dry - Be sure that your surface is clean and dry before adhering to your vinyl design. 
Cut out your design - You can use either a vinyl cutter or you can choose to hand cut out your design. When using a vinyl cutter, be sure to have the pattern facing you when loading the vinyl into the cutter.
Weed out excess - After you have cut your design out, take out the remaining vinyl from around your design. This is a process known as weeding.
Use transfer tape - Once you have your weeded design, place the transfer tape over it and scrape and smooth it down so the vinyl fully adheres to the tape.
Pull off backing tape - Slowly peel off the backing tape to reveal your intact vinyl design to get ready for the application step. If any of your designs did not make it onto the tape, lay it back down and scrape it down again.
Apply your design - Take your design and place it on your surface or product in the desired location. Smooth it out from the center outwards, making sure to smooth out the bubbles as well. 
Take off transfer tape - When the vinyl has been effectively adhered, slowly pull down on the transfer tape by the corner while smoothing the design while you go. 
Admire - Once you have applied your vinyl design and it is secure, take a step back and admire your custom vinyl creation!


What to Use This Vinyl Product On
There are very few materials that this patterned adhesive vinyl can not be used on, and there are so many possibilities of ways that it can be applied. Permanent patterned adhesive vinyl is best used on solid smooth surfaces for easy transfer like plastic, glass, metal, or acrylic. 


Although not the smoothest of surfaces, this vinyl can also be used on materials and surfaces such as wood, textured walls, or ceramic. This product is not intended for use on any fabric.
